As a standard, FMI offers fully 316L stainless steel metallic hose assemblies. We do this due to the properties offered by 316l SS such as; material integrity, corrosion resistance, longevity and durability giving a higher total cost of ownership value.
316L outperforms 321 and 304 grades of stainless steel making it our chosen solution for metal hose assemblies

In instances where 316L SS is not able to meet the requirements of specialised applications we are able to offer a range of alternative alloys such as Titanium, Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy & others with varying degrees of chemical resistance.
End Fittings & Outer Cover
Armour Guard
The anti-kink armour guard casing protects the hose from being crushed and kinked during process motion. The armour guard casing is made of double interlocked hose and has a high tensile strength for crush resistance
Anti-kink Spiral
The neck of the hose is the weakest part of any hose assembly. The anti-kink protection spiral is placed at the end of the hose assembly and prevents the kinking of the hose just after the braid collar.
Pyro-Guard
The Pyro-Guard sleeve protects your hose assembly from damage due to high heat. It withstands exposure to a constant temperature up to 260°c / 500°F.
Spring Guard
Spring Guard spiral hose protection is an option available which is designed to protect the braid reinforcement against abrasion.
